OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: emerald city is a canon that involves war, torture, suicide, violence, hints at child abuse, abandonment, magic, and manipulation; tags with her may hint at that but i'll do my best to at least warn for this. if you ask me to avoid something specific i will avoid mentioning it.
CANON FAMILIARITY: seen the entirety of the series, seen the 1939 movie, seen wicked (the show and the first movie). haven't read any of the novels that emerald city draws inspiration from (i have read wicked but it's been years) but hers is a different telling of the story and not especially relevant to the books aside from drawing inspiration from them. in general dorothy's played as being post-events of the series.

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: she's generally fine with it but very mindful of what touches are welcome and which aren't; she'll back away or stiffen if a touch is not welcome.
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: if she feels she or someone else is being threatened she'll step in, whether the odds are in her favor or not.
RELATIONSHIPS: in her own words she tries to avoid commitments and permanence, but grows attachments in spite of this. she fears getting hurt and losing people so tries to end things before they start. canonwise i like dorothy/lucas even if it's painful.
PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: she has no way to block people reading her mind but she's a good enough liar to fake her way through situations, until she isn't.
MAGICAL INFORMATION: tricking the witch of the east into killing herself lead to her inheriting the elements, a pair of bejeweled gauntlets that she can perform magic with (namely telekinesis in several forms, shock waves, and controlling the weather). she has some control over them but they usually start to kick in whenever she feels she or someone she's close to is threatened. MEDICAL INFORMATION: dorothy's a nurse with somewhat limited medical knowledge (enough to assist in delivering a baby when the baby is breech and know what common ingredients can substitute for medication and counteract a poisoning, but she wouldn't know how to perform a surgery); canon is unclear on whether she's an RN or an LNP. she pilfers medication from patients that her adoptive parents can't afford. there's a tattooed birthmark on her left hand and several scars that come from growing up on a farm and doing chores as well as rebellious acts as a child and teenager.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
VISUAL: taller side of average with brown eyes and long, curly brown hair typically worn down or pulled back (or up if she's working in the hospital). clothing is well-fitting and layered (tank under flannel under jacket under another jacket; she strips or adds layers depending on the weather or temperature) and typically in neutrals or blues or greens and the rare pop of red, for shoes she tends to favor work boots. her fingernails are kept short and unpainted due to her work as a nurse and living on a farm. make up is kept simple if she wears any and it's typically limited to blush and mascara; she'll add eyeliner and lipstick if she feels like getting fancy.
