( getting something of a balm for her burns isn't life or death, but wanda appreciates dorothy's sense of urgency about it. wanda knows that the best way to treat wounds, illness, or anything gnarly is to be consistent with the treatment; missing one day will not ruin the progress, but it might slow it down.
wanda waits by the many vending machines near the corner store, the neon green sign painting her hues in that tone.
[ wanda hadn't said much about how the burns were acquired, but since they'd encircled her wrists she figured it had been a bad situation, maybe one she'd only escaped by being brought here. whatever the case, she wants to make sure they heal without any scarring, or at least minimal scarring.
she spots wanda beneath the neon sign and smiles, one hand on the strap of her bag as she jogs over to where wanda's waiting for her. ]

They're not all that itchy anymore. Especially when I make the effort to ignore that feeling.
( the healing isn't perfect, but it's the best it can be, under the circumstances. wanda is fully aware that it could be so much worse, but thankfully she had gotten the necessary cream and medication through the professional insight of others. she raises her hands up to her chest, letting the loose sleeves of her shirt fall back a touch, revealing the healing burn marks.
